Principal's Message
We are looking forward to the school year. Our goal at Washington is to help all students feel welcome, connected, and supported in reaching their highest potential. At Washington, we have great teachers who spend hours planning and creating classroom activities to engage students in learning. The teachers utilize research-based best practices and analyze academic data to determine current skill levels and set appropriate goals for student growth and improvement. We believe that by working together all students can be successful.
Please feel free to call (872-2000) or stop by the school if you have any questions. We would also like to invite you to become an active participant in our school community through volunteering, joining our PTO, and attending and supporting school events.
We are honored to serve as the principals of Washington Elementary School. It is truly a privilege to be a part of a community where parents, teachers, and students care for each other and strive to build positive relationships that support academic and social growth. Let’s make this a great year at Washington Elementary School!
Sincerely,
Anne Marie Covey, Principal and Danelle Burd, Assistant Principal
